  • September 09 - Lazy Day Foods Win Covetted Great Taste Gold Award for Chocolate Fudge Cake!
The Great Taste Awards as known as the Oscars of the food industry. Lazy Day Foods are delighted to announce that our new Chocolate Fudge Cake won a Great Taste Gold Award 2009. To celebrate winning this wonderful award, we are launching our Chocolate Fudge cake for online sale. Delicious, moist and totally chocolatey! Available now on the online shop.

This cake is fabulous cold and amazing warmed slightly with dairy free ice cream (Swedish Glace is wonderful and available at Tesco if you have not tried it).

  •  August 09 - Lazy Day Foods Bakery stays nut free

Lazy Day Foods have never used nuts as an ingredient in any of our recipes, and so when we decided to introduce an Iced Fruit Cake  to our range we were faced with a dilemma. We know that production in a nut free environment is important to many of you, and so we have sourced a nut-free alternative to marzipan for use on our iced fruit cake, keeping our production facility free from nuts as an ingredient.


We do not guarantee our products to be nut free.

  • January 09 - Lazy Day Foods is Shortlisted for Most Promising New Business, Lanarkshire. Winner to be announced at a glittering Awards Dinner on 27th February 09.

  • July 08 - Winner of Great Taste Gold Award 2008 for Chocolate Gingers.
    Lazy Day Foods were delighted to win this prestigious award for their delicious Chocolate Gingers.



  • May 08 - Tiffin was Shortlisted for the Scotland Food and Drink Excellence Awards 2008. The judges commented that they found it hard to believe that this was a “free-from” product. With no free-from category Lazy Day Foods Tiffin was competing with the best of Scottish Baked products.
